well this is my prologue for my book. (i cant think of a name for it)
The creatures of land, ocean and sky sang in joy as the little girl was born. The parents of the little girl looked down upon her. The mother looked down and saw her smiling face looking back up at them. She gazed into the child’s ocean blue eyes. “I shall name you Azurel,” the mother said. “And all shall call you Azurel god of all animals on this wondrous earth” the father said.
Then an angry evil yell came to their ears. The animals scattered and ran away but some stayed. The small left to hide but the big stood strong and proud protecting the parents and Azurel. Then the source of the laughter came. It was an evil fog resembling the shape of a human but had fog hands and feet, legs and arms, head and face and was hideous. The fog opened its mouth and told the parents “give me the child Kibeth and Astarael. Don’t worry I wont hurt her.” She cackled and laughed hideously at Kibeth and Astarael.
“Never Chlor. You will not touch our child. You will not make her do as you bid and use her to kill many. You are a monster and I will never let you lay a finger on our child Chlor.” Kibeth told Chlor.
The fog called Chlor cackled, “Whatever you do I will get that child!” Kibeth and Astarael battled for many weeks, the animals were much fewer. Most had left because the two parents ordered them to. There was one cheetah left that had refused to leave.
The parents becoming tired after there fight with Chlor quickly and if it went on much longer Astarael would die. Astarel was already tired from having Azurel. They quickly granted the cheetah powers making it faster and stronger and other characteristics that it would need to protect Azurel. They also did the same thing for a leopard and sent the two down towards the human world.
Chlor tried to give chase but the two parents blocked her path for one more week until Astarael could stand no longer and needed to rest. The parents slept for 100 hundred years then went to look for their child and the leopard and cheetah; before Chlor found them first. They had one advantage and one disadvantage. Chlor would sleep 100 years but so would their child.
