No longer will thoughts of you and me be cheerful.
Nothing but sorrow they will bring.
No longer will I lay in bed and wish for sweet dreams of you.
Nothing but nightmares will occur.
No longer will I smile at something because it reminded me of you.
Nothing but tears will come at the sight.
No longer will "I love you" be exchanged from one of us to the other.
Nothing but silence left to say.
I sit here quietly, pondering all these thoughts.
Why I did it. What it caused. How it hurt.
How I wish I could take it all back.
But it was said and done, which makes it final.
Nothing but the hurtful stains left in ink.
Memories of better times only remaining.
I ran away again, like I thought I wouldn't.
