The grass rustles in the wind. A wolf sniffs the air. Arrows fly trying to hit their targets. Screams of pain echo through the forest. Something jumps out of the bush. It’s a werewolf! A man shouts and runs for help. Can anyone stop it? It jumps through the brush evading arrows. It sniffs the air to try to pick up its target. Mako shoots an arrow at it. He misses it by a mile. “What do you want, you-!” He got cut off as the werewolf jumped at him. He is after me! Mako said to himself.
“Get back here or I will have to chop you into little pieces!” It snarled.
Mako stopped and pulled out his sword. He swung, cutting off some of its hair. It snarled at Mako again. It was almost morning. The werewolf looked up at the sun in fear. Mako looked at the sun than back to the werewolf. It was no longer a werewolf, it was a boy! The boy had soft ocean blue hair. That matched his seaweed green eyes. He had what looked like wolf ears on his head. He had a tail to go with it. The boy was wearing big baggy blue shorts.
“That thing was a harmless little boy this whole time!” Mako shouted in rage. “I want him in a jail cell that doesn’t have a window.”
“Sire, he is a werewolf they cannot control turning into their inner self. He could be a good weapon against the Darklord’s son, Roku.” Mako’s right hand warrior said with enthusiasm. “What is your name, boy?”
“My name is Troy,” the boy said with ease. “I wasn’t after you, oh great warrior. I was after Roku.”
Mako just stood there confused. He was thinking the same thing everybody else was thinking. Is he lying? Everyone shot looks of venom at Mako. “You can come to my castle. Do you wish to help us in the war against Roku? You have to swear you will if you want to.” He said boldly.
“No worries. I swear I will help thy in the battle against Roku.” Troy said as though he was talking to someone he has known all his life.
Mako led Troy to the castle. His warriors showed Troy to his room. Don’t get me wrong Mako. I was after you, but for a specific reason. I will keep it to myself until the time is right. Troy said to himself as he laid down on his new bed.
