As Valux, Eritha, and Barga flew as swiftly as their wings allowed, they began to see a new land where peace had once been strewn, for they had not ventured from their home since their young warrior had disappeared. But now, everything looked to be aflame with a glowing blackness that swallowed even the darkest nightmares of this realm. The sky was dark, but this was known, it had grown darker and darker until hardly even the sun could pierce through the thick clouds, giving the sky a slight scarlet color where the sun rays shown.

. . . The Prince of Darkness enjoyed his new feeling of power, and he drew his blade and swung it in the air, forcing his anger upon the innocent air before him. "Oh how I will crush that rotten man for killing my father!" he shouted. Then his dragon hissed. Looking up, the Prince
swallowed hard, unable to believe the sight. Two dragons and their kin! Why are they here? Why are they alive? And why do they trespass!?

. . . Yoozepode's mind again flickered, and he grabbed onto it with his burning heart. Bristling flames penetrated his skin from the inside, coming out of his flesh only to be extinguished by the mass of ice that surrounded him. His mind blurred and then blacked out. It was not in vain though, for as his mind faded away once again, his faithful companions felt it in their minds, even as they were preoccupied with the puny man who thought he was Lord of the World.
