The Little One
Away from my master one night, I went for a walk. The wind picked up everything as screetches sung a lullaby. Nearly covering the sobbing like noise coming from under the willow tree. Rushing under is where I found him. Adorable, even though he didn't look anything like normal babies. He didn't even have a daiper on... Whoever left him must have been in a hurry.
Checking around, and shouting for the parents attention, there was none. The baby just cried louder...and louder. The gurgling noises rising to my ears, making my throat parch as I try even harder to locate his parents. No ships around, nothing. He's been abandoned. Unlike me he didn't even have a brother.
Wrapping him in my shirt, I took him home. Once there, I left him on the floor. Spread blankets out all over the room, blocked the plugs, and put everything up high that he might be able to reach. Waiting till he was asleep, I left to go buy baby things.
It was hard to hide that i was happy about having a kid, even if he was a different species. Daipers, wipes...and a lot more stuff. My pointed ears fell back and my tail stopped wagging as soon as I realized how much this was going to cost me.
Rushing back inside the house there was no crying. Checking the room, the baby was still sound asleep. First thing was first, daiper. Then I would make him some milk. The crying reached my ears, notifying me that he was awake. The daiper was on and now i had to leave to make him food. On my way out I felt this little grip on my hand.
He was walking. Following me to the kitchen, being led by me. Rusen. That was going to be his name I decided that day...
Now how am I going to explain this to my master... Or better yet... My brother!
