Haha, so I haven't gotten even close to touching Gaia for THREE YEARS, what ...?
While I've been gone they broke down and slapped ads all over the place, ads that slow everything down. I had to reload Salon Durem about three times before I gave up, I guess I'll just stick with this ugly hair for now. All the other shops are touch and go too, but of course the ads load just fine. I remembered evolving items ...vaguely, but now there are chance items, gold shop items, animated items ...and I was trying to look up what the Ships Happen item thingee was because there was an item I saw on Tektek that I wanted from it. But I have no clue -__-;; Anything that looks like it might explain to me what this kind of weird item is that gives you the possibility of acquiring many, many, many different items (...under certain conditions, yeah, no??) ...yeah these pages won't load and I'm still in the dark. I think I might copy and paste this to a forum question or something because I don't have the time to sit here and watch these hopeful pages not load.
I also tried visiting my house and oop, yeah, that wouldn't load either. When I went to edit it, just to see what it looked like since it's been so long, I got a message that said something to the effect of "It looks like an earthquake hit your house! You need to redecorate." Wasn't really impressive even after I did redecorate, I mostly had Nightmare furniture. Not very original, Past Dani. Future Dani is not impressed.
Also, those old monthly collectible items, from like 2005-2006, I've been saving forever in hopes of selling them on the market for a heap of cash ...yeah, they're worth almost less than I paid for when I bought them in the market back then. And now things are selling on the market for TENS of MILLIONS!! What the eff? So there goes my dreams of being a millionaire. Even my Kiki Kitty is only around 1, 150,000 gold. I bought her for close to, if not over, 2 million!
Anyway, so besides all of the super annoying and clutteringly complicated things they've added to a site that was already really frustrating, there are some cool things I discovered. Like these emotes!!!!

And the new items I'm coming across are pretty awesome. I'm glad that there are items like Prince of the World legs that make Gaian avatar legs look better. It's really disappointing the lowest price for that on the market is 23 million gold.
Overall, I am still having a lot of fun. It's kind of nostalgic. Just too bad all of my old Gaian friends are gone or haven't logged in since 2009. Perhaps I'll come across some more cool people ...even though it's very obvious I'm way too old for this site, haha!
