Minamino Daisuke, 14, Male, Demon.
Though his feminine appearence throws people off, Daisuke is the only son of former Theif and Spirit Detective Kurama and former Assassin Hotaru. He is very shy and quiet and most of the time keeps to himself. Being a full blood fox youkai, he specializes in transformations and speed. Daisuke is also cross-dresses and wears his hair long to make him appear more like a girl. Later on, he falls in love with Jaganashi Kaito, Hiei and Kira's son.
Minamino Mariko, 16, Female, Demon.
The oldest daughter of the Minamino Trio, Mariko is the said leader of the new Spirit Detective Force along with her two other siblings and their close friends. She acts much like her adoptive father, Kurama, who found her abandoned in the park 12 years ago. Mariko is highly intelligent, clever, and sneaks a joke in once or twice. Also a fox youkai, she much rather use her Rei-ki over her You-ki and is like the medic of the group.
Minamino Reirona (Rei), 13, Female, Demon.
Even though she is the youngest of the group, Rei is an experienced fighter and gunslinger. When she turned 12 years old, she trained with Riu, another retired Spirit Detective and active General of the SDF, for a year to take her father, Hiei, Kuwabara, and Yusuke's place as Spirit Detective. Like Riu, Rei uses an empty Beretta M1934 handgun and transfers her You-ki to deliver deadly attacks in the form of bullets. Rei is very much like her mother: crazy, reckless, emotional, and cocky. She also originally came up with the plan to create a SD team with her sister, brother, and the Jaganashi siblings.
Shino Kazuko, 17, Male, Half-Demon.
Kazuko is a fairly new member of Mariko's Spirit Detective Team. He joined shortly after Mariko saved him from being attacked by a group of demons she and her team were sent to capture. He hates full-bred demons even since he was harassed, beaten, and cast out by his family when they discovered he was a half-breed, but he likes Mariko a lot. Kazuko is normally very close to her, which makes her sister and her best friend Haruko suspicious. Kazuko also specilizes in swordplay and earth/rock based attacks.
Jaganashi Kaito, 15, Male, Demon.
One of the heirs to the Throne of the Underworld, Kaito, most of the time, is a laid-back, carefree kind of guy. Like his father, he has a short temper with and even shorter amount of patience. Kaito is normally the one who brings order back when the girls are fighting or something dramatic happens (he's not one for drama). He's a loner and prefers being away from home or in a secluded forest. Though he doesn't care for many things while living in the Human World, Kaito cares for, loves, and protects his sister Haruko and Daisuke.
Jaganashi Haruko, 15, Female, Demon.
The final member of the new Spirit Detective Team, Haruko is one of the strongest fighters there is. She inherited her mother's power and will to win above all else, in fact she inherited her mother's personality altogether, which what makes her and Mariko such good friends. Haruko likes to keep her friends very close, hence why she doesn't like Kazuko very much. But she follows the rule of whatever makes you happy. Her attacks are based souly on her You-ki and would rather fist fight than use weapons. Haruko and Kaito are also twin brother and sister.
Tensei Izumo, 18, Male, God.
Izumo, a distant relative of Prince Koenma and King Enma, is the team's new boss. He assigns them their missions and occassionally steps in and helps them. He's generally calm and collected but is known greatly for his anger and, what Kazuko calls, mood swings. Izumo spent most of his life working in Reikai and keeping the world in order, so he knew nothing else. He fell for Rei when she first became a Spirit Detective for him, but decided to keep his feelings hidden until she was old enough.
