So this is a sort of poem.
I find it very profound, and it's my favorite.
I used to practically live my life thinking of this poem for a long time.
Yesterday's friends
Become tomorrow's foes
So flows the days filled with betrayal and enmity
Once one reaches the summit,
All that remains is one's inevitable downfall
All has been lost
The innumerable wounds
Once decorations of glory
Began to ache
Where might I be?
Have I awoken?
Is this the grave of my joys?
So I am alone
Just desserts for the likes of me
Betrayed by the very ones in whom I trusted.
