I don't know why I bother writing journal entries when I no for a fact no one ever reads them. ...Or maybe that's the point.
Currently in the process of editing... er, looking for free software that will allow me to edit the short film "The Tomato Attacks" (collaboration with Capt. Morgan Read and Etherial). It occurs to me now that "The Attack of the Tomato" would have been a better title, but hey, what's done is done. Currently, I can't combine the scenes using my movie maker thingamawhatsit program because it's a .mov file. I also can't change the file extension. *murders sister for millionth time for deleting flash off the pc*
*annoys brother into getting cd with macromedia package back form the friend he loaned it to*
*brother won't do it because he's living in another state*
*back where we started*

It was after Corinth had ended... |

Josiah Kindly never wanted to be a criminal growing up. Who really does on that simple, happy rock the settlers optimistically called "Canaan"? He didn't even understand what a criminal was until he was quite certain he already was one.
It took a Corinthian to turn him into a criminal. Corinth was a complex, unhappy planet which slowly destroyed itself through war. That was where Randolph Dale came from. Randolph Dale was, as Kindly's mother would have put it had she ever met the man, "a puzzle wrapped in an enigma". Kindly never quite knew what to expect from him (aside from the unexpected).
The first criminal act Kindly performed was breaking out of jail--or rather, allowing Dale to break him out of jail. He had been jailed unjustly over a fight which he had neither started nor finished, so in his mind leaving the dreadful place was entirely justifiable in his simplistic seventeen-year-old mind.
The second criminal act Kindly performed was aiding the theft of the Inglestadt Emeralds from the National Museum at Damascus. He drove the getaway pod. He didn't actually steal anything. However, he knew he had done something dreadfully wrong. He abruptly stopped going home to visit his mother, two brothers and three sisters. Back when he was a reknowned pod racer he had been a modest hero to many. Now he turned his back on all of them.

The fight was just about to begin; spectators roared barbarically at the two tiny creatures in the center of the arena. They were small and young and they had no quarrel, yet here they were, eager to fight, to kill for monies.
Suddenly a deafening crash vibrated through the arena. The stands rattled with the force of it--and every eye turned to the north end of the arena. A small crater had appeared, apparently caused by the buffalo-sized, rock-like creature now beginning to stand up in the crater.
Zoe quickly jumped to her feet and dashed forward from the stands where she had been sitting. They could defeat this thing if they worked together... She waved to other citizens, hoping they would come to her aid. O'Brien whizzed along after her, flapping his tiny wings uselessly.
When they got within twenty feet of the beast she stopped, amazed at how much bigger it appeared close-up. It was taller than a man, and that was on all fours. It shook its massive grey head and gave a roar, its eyes red and annoyed. It had a rather large gash in its side, apparently a wound it sustained during its dramatic landing.
Beast HP: 10/20 MP: 15/15 attack: 10 defense: 15
With an unearthly wail the huge creature fell over to the ground and instantly disappeared. It seemed that there was nothing in the crater, but Agape noticed something shiney and blue. (have Brett recognize it).
