At 3am this morning, the fire alarm went off in my apartment building.
Two drunk guys tried to cook but started a fire instead. So I had to stand outside for an hour, waiting for the building to be put back in order.

It was surprisingly fun. I talked to other residents for basically the first time since moving in a year ago, and made two new friends! haha!

Also chatted with one of the firefighters. He said that there really is a rivalry between police and firefighters. I thought that was just a gag from Brooklyn 99.
This guy was such a cliche firefighter. I mean, after putting out the fire, he helped rescue someone's cat once it got scared and ran away.

He also gave me a shiny "junior firefighter" sticker LOL
