Been fighting one battle after another, not much time for the journal.

But. I'm on vacation now, something that we get only every three years or so. It lasts three months, which is really nice! I am exploring Gaia, which is a very interesting place... except there are no horses. sad

But there are all sorts of other creatures, some evil and some very very good. I like the kitties and the dogs, and the big, fat fish (water meat?). The chickies are sooo cute, I just love those. I see a fox now and then, they are rather large. And a bear too!

Being an Animal Control Angel (ACA), it's good to see that the animals here are not mistreated. That gives me a *real* vacation! I dabble my toes in the fountains, explore the neighborhoods, play Word Bump, and generally find lots to do here.

I guess that little work I did for the poor wild horses being roped and dragged by those idiots did something upstairs!



Backing up a bit:
Being an Arch Angel ain't easy without wings. ...

Oh, what a rough day yesterday!

These ruffians in Wyoming were chasing the wild horses and roping them. Now, these horses are REALLY wild, and they fight that rope till they fall down, and sometimes get injured.

I swooped out of the sky and cut every last rope with my sword. Arch Angels are allowed to swear, so I gave those idiots a piece of my mind, and by golly they were spooked bad! They took off at a run, and I bet they'll never come back to that herd.

I talked softly to the wild ones, and took the ropes off the ones who still had them wrapped around their necks or legs. I told them to run like hell if they ever saw humans on horseback again, and the alpha mare nodded wisely. She is the real leader of the herd, they follow her. The stallion stays back to make sure the slow ones catch up, and to defend them from whatever they are running from. He listened too, and swore he would attack any riders he saw again.

I think they'll be ok. None of them had real bad rope burns, and none of them broke or strained a leg in their struggle to get away.

Whew.

All part of my job.

I hope to have wonderful adventures here on Gaia - I finally have an addresss for my house, and soon enough I'm sure, will have furniture in it. It's important for an Arch Angel to have a place of relaxation, for we work very hard and our battles are fierce.

I may look cute... but watch out! Abuse a wild creature and I will come flying in to protect it. If you are a protector of wild things, welcome, friend.

Oh, and I have two pair of wings... the ones called fairy wings, which are also the smaller angel wings (easy to maneuver) and a pair of butterfly wings... they are great for sneaking up on wrong doers ... hahaha they never see my sword. blaugh
