NAME:[/b ] Micheal Carter
CHARACTER INFO: Michael Carter was born poor in the Gotham City of the twenty-fifth century. He and his sister Michelle never knew their father because he left after gambling away all their money. There were some tuff times for these two but they pulled through it all. Luckily for Michael, he was a gifted athlete and he managed to get into Gotham University on a football scholarship. In college, Booster becomes a star quarterback with a bright future. But then his father reenters his life and convinces him to bet on games and then throw them. He is exposed and his once bright future is shattered.
He takes a job as a night watchman at the Metropolis Space Museum, where he begins to study displays about superheroes and villains from the past, particularly the twenty-fifth century. With the help of a security robot named Skeets, Michael steals devices from the museum displays, including a Legion of Super-Heroes flight ring and Brainiac Five's force-field belt. He uses Rip Hunter's time machine, also on display in the museum, to travel to the twentieth century, intent on becoming a superhero and forming a corporation based around himself to make a comfortable living.

Legion Flight Ring: A ring made of a particular alloy named valorium, bestows his/her owner with flight abilities.
Power Suit: Instead of having any powers at all, Michael uses an advanced microcircuitry-powered all-purpose combat suit that allows him a wide range of options to use in combat.
1. Enhanced Durability: The suit is extremely durable, very lightweight, and easy to wear. The suit itself is able to withstand bullets without losing its integrity (although being shot hurts)
2. Super-Strength: The microcircuitry woven into the mesh affords Micheal a high measure of super-strength, enough to easily shift twenty tons - and a great deal more if he exerts himself. However, Micheal must take into account the fact that attempting to lift things that heavy often causes them to fall apart under their own weight.
3. Force-field Generation: A belt that is capable of generating a force-field that is able to withstand a great amount of impact. It also filters atmosphere to allow the holder thrive in a no-air atmosphere and defending Micheal's body from germs and pollution.
4. Gauntlets. Using the same energy cells of the suit, the gauntlets contain powerful blasters, able to plow at their maximum setting through two solid feet of concrete.
Skeets- Is a security robot that helped Booster steal all the items he needed from the museum in the future. He soon becomes a companion of Booster's. Skeets holds various data on the past that is helpful to Booster, as well as housing different types of gadgets and weapons.
Visor Devices. Micheal's visor is outfitted with both sensory amplification devices (both auditory and visual) and a HUD for targeting and threat-identification, along with broad scanning along the electromagnetic spectrum, providing infra-red, ultraviolet, and X-ray vision.

Sample RP: In the late night a duo of punks busted into a corner store and were looting whatever they could. " This is easy money Monty", one of them said to the other. " Yeah its not as easy as it is to get in jail", came a cheezy comeback from the doorway of the shop. The two thugs looked up to see a man dressed in a gold like spandex, with some kinds shades and a little orb floating around him. " Who the hell are you? Freddy Fracking Mercury", the one named Monty cackled to the new comer? The new comer looked confused then looked to the oval next to him, " Hey Skeets. Who is Freddy Mercury", he asked the object? The floating object opened up a little and what would be called its eyed lit up. " Calculating....... subject found. Freddy Mercury, homosexual band member of a famous band of the late 20th century called Queen. I don't know how these two think you look like him Booster", it turned and replied to Booster?
The whole time that Skeets was coming up with an answer the two punks got weirded out and slowly headed for the back door but were stopped by a beam of energy that flew past them and into the wall next to the door. " Were do the two of you think your going?" The two punks dropped the sacks of goods and got down on their knees begging for mercy. " Man I didn't even get to use my announcement speech, oh well", he said grabbing the metal coat rack that was in the corner. He walked over to the two and wrapped the pole around them like it was rope, and headed for the exit. Booster then stopped, " Oh wait thats right. Remember kids, stay in school", he said giving a hap hazard salute and taking off into the night air.
What sort of growth potential do you see for your character?
I hope to have him come into himself and learn that he can't always be like Superman and eventually have him take on the mantle of Super Nova.
