Today's rant is about: The Appalling Literacy of Today's Kids

I may be only 14, but I'm more literate than some 21 year olds!! Now isn't that SAD?! I mean, c'mon guys. Is it really that hard to pay attention in English class? I think not. I absolutely hate it when I see a Message that is titled "Can u help me?11?!" I cringe everytime someone who can't type like a HUMAN BEING comes up to me in Town and asks "how r u doin"! So please people, try and be more literate! There are some of us who make mistakes, and there are some of us who don't even give a damn and make us suffer. Please, don't be the latter! Try and be literate. Otherwise, you won't even get far in life if you have to ask how to spell "their". I'm sick and tired of it, and I doubt I'm the only one! Don't you older people out there think it's sad when a 17 year-old SENIOR in High School can't even type a proper sentence? I'm constantly thinking, "How on earth did you get through your junior year?!" People, the illiteracy online is ridiculous! Some of us don't even want to look twice at a person who can't type! I'm one of them, unfortunately. Please keep this in mind!
