Well, first off not all people know about trolls or what they do. Well, here is a informational post about them.
Troll, Noun
"One who purposely and deliberately (that purpose usually being self-amusement) starts an argument in a manner which attacks others on a forum without in any way listening to the arguments proposed by his or her peers. He will spark of such an argument via the use of ad hominem attacks (i.e. 'you're nothing but a fan boy' is a popular phrase) with no substance or relevence to back them up as well as straw man arguments, which he uses to simply avoid addressing the essence of the issue. There are many types of trolls, here is a quick list of the different trolls.
Porn Trolls: The ones that post Jenna Jameson getting it three way.
Gore Trolls: The ones that post a picture of a dead fetus.
Fad Trolls: The one that posts "Oh Rly" all the time.
Random Trolls: Says random stuff, usually just to annoy.
There are many more types, but these are the most common.
If you run into a troll, be sure to report them.
