The PD Patchwork Quilt was created by PrincessNeko, through an idea used widely in Neopets (don't start insulting Neopets here - they obviously have some good ideas!). Recently, we have been contacted by an affiliate of the Quilting Bee to tell us that this club is the origin of the entire idea of a "Quilt".
What it entails is simple, each person designs a 50x50pixel square (or 'Patch') and either PM's it to The PD Seamstress (for weekdays) or posts it here (for weekends). We add each Patch and its code to the front page in the section 'Codes'. You can then use this code to link to profiles you like (usually on the 'About' section of the extended profile). Thus linking your profile, with the profiles you enjoy... And creating a whole community of warm hugs.
If you are thinking of creating your own Patch, here is an example of what it should look like (and what to PM/post!). This Patch is a prime example, as it is the Patch of the creator (PrincessNeko):
