Drops
Drops in the dirt
containing the hurt
caused by someone i loved
drops on the cheek
they continue to leak
reminding me of the pain
drops on the hand
ignoring the demand
to stop coming
drops in the eye
they continue to try
to journey from the eye to the dirt
