this happened when i was about... 5 years old... i was sailing along the sea, it was raging, and kinda foggy, hard to see, ya know? well, i was sailing along and my ship rammed into this island! it was a big island too! i brought my boat up to it and walked out onto the beach to see what was there. when i got further into the island, i noticed something very strange... there was nothing there! there were no natives on the island, there were no trees, grass, animals, rocks... nothing but just the land and this weird smell! i wasn't afraid or anything, but i thought it would be best if i headed off the island and back to the ocean. by now, the fog had gotten worse! and i could hardly see my nose in front of my face! i wondered aimlessly, looking for the shore. i thought, if i could only find the edge i could walk around the island until i found my boat. after hours of wandering, i finally found my ship and got ready to set sail!
i was glad to get off that island, and things were looking up, the fog was not as bad anymore! it was still there, but it looked to be getting better! i started sailing further along the ocean and i sailed past another island! i didn't land, but i took a good look at it, it was the same exact island! i checked my maps and my compasses and everything! i had been sailing in a straight line! it couldn't have been the same island! it must have been one just like the first one! i wondered if i was sailing around an archipelago or something...
i sailed on to another island just like the first two! i was starting to get creeped out by these baron islands... but i was following my course, and would not be scared away! the fog still rather thick i sailed on via my maps and compasses. i looked out in front of the ship with my telescope when i saw one of the biggest shapes i have ever seen! it was dark and huge!! maybe 50 or 100 times bigger than the islands i have been sailing along!! and it was moving!! was i scared? of course not! i am, after all, the brave Captain Usopp! no, i wasn't scared! i sailed on to see what ever this monster could be! i sailed close to the monster, and the fog was starting to clear more and more, i looked through my telescope as the fog cleared to reveal what the monster was!
it was... a giant goldfish!! a billion times bigger than a normal goldfish! even more!! it was huge!! it could have easily swallowed my ship without even noticing if i got close enough!! it wasn't bothering anybody, so i just let it swim on its way... but i noticed something about it's wake... all the islands that i saw... they were all in its wake! i looked back at the goldfish with my telescope! i looked over to the tail of the goldfish and saw that the islands were... coming from the goldfish... that's why they had no people on them! that's why they had no vegetation or rocks or people or animals! because they were the goldfish's stools!!
