Scales: along shoulders, hips, backs of hands (and feet in human form), crown of forehead and under the eyes along the cheekbone. Tails are entirely scaled. Can be any shade of blue or green, and are highly reflective, often resembling mica flakes.
Albino: scales are gold

Skin: smooth, hairless and relatively firm; almost rubbery in texture. Color is also shades of blue and green, and are usually pale. Those from colder regions have more intense colors. Because of the properties of their blood, the lighter the color, the more the skin seems to sparkle.
Albino: skin is pale gold, nearly white.

Eyes: sclera is light blue, iris can be any color but red, pupils are oblong. There is a transparent inner lid to the eye, which closes when under water.
Albino: whole eye is gold, sclera being paler than the iris.

Hair: can also be any color except red. Silver and blue shades are most common, and only Albinos have gold hair.

Blood: golden in color and has a glitter to it.

Tails: They have a total of four fins: tail fin, dorsal fin, and a pair of ventral fins.

Other Physical Features: ears are tapered and often have a delicate, decorative frill along the outer edge. some have an extra dorsal ridge along the spine, just below the shoulders. This can be flattened against the body so that it is virtually invisible beneath clothing.

Magical Abilities: Sea Fauns have the ability to go back and forth between an aquatic form and a two-legged form. When in their aquatic forms, they are often mistaken for merfolk. This form also possesses webbed hands. Their two-legged forms are almost entirely human, except for that they maintain their original coloring, their scales, ear frill and dorsal ridge if they have one.
