Six years later? Still playing.

I want a CoCo Kitty like no one's business. I need at least 10k. This will be my first major item gotten on a quest. I was thinking of a doing a quest thread, but quest threads are for people who have been playing for more than a month, at least.

I completed my Olympic shirt quest in record time. I was going to hold off on wearing it until the actual Olympics started, but I got my first (and only) event today! I got a blue gift box! To imitate many of the people on this site, OMG LOL! So I pulled out these super cute white flower bracelets and put on my shirt. Styling!

The question has become what to quest for now. Should I just go for the cat outfit, or should I try for one of the kitties. Should I get one of the items on my wishlist? I can't decide right now, so I'll just post my current gold.

With some time leftover before December starts, I'm done my Christmas Clothes quest. I shall don that outfit come December and I'm fairly excited about it!

Now it is time to go out for the most expensive item of clothes yet -- an Olympic shirt. (What else would I wear when the Olympics are on?) They seem to be going for around 1.5k to 2.0k on the marketplace. I was going to start my kitty quest, but that's going to be an expensive one, so it waits for this!

I took a break from my Christmas Clothes Quest to help out another person on this game. It also helped out me since I saved enough today (through posting, bumping, and fishing) to afford a vending pass. That'll be useful one day, probably. But where does that leave me in my Quest?

So, I think that I actually own a performance rod. I just need to have the seller complete the bid. I hope so, anyway. So, this leaves me with my question of what to aim for next.

Last night, I traded in my lame skirt for a new pair of jeans which are much more me. I had to sell my skirt, but I wasn't too sad. I also traded in my generic red top for a red jersey top today! I gave my boots (and an extra 100 gold) back to the charity which gave them to me, and bought sandals. Thus, I already completed what I felt was my second quest silently and returned an earlier donation plus a tiny bit. The second quest was "Quest for clothes I normally wear every day." Mark that complete. As soon as I can see and edit my avatar, that'll be gold.

My next aim will be for a Christmas Gaia outfit. Since the Santa hat is too expensive for a newb, I'm going to aim for the elf outfit from Barton Boutique.

I was doing so well! I had saved up gold through posting, reading, and fishing. I had 1800 gold. I checked out the marketplace and, yay, there was an 1800 gold rod finishing in an hour! So I bid.

Then, not so much luck. I won, and my money is gone, but I have no rod. Janiani, the seller, had no money nor a rod. We're both out of luck.

Sohlside heard my tale of woe and donated a nice 250 (a LARGE amount for a newb) to my savings. If I get some money, I need to help him out. If I get my rod, I'll give that and some more back.

I've got 1578 gold! I need roughly three thousand to get the performance rod. It's hard not to buy new shoes or clothes.
