I have gotten bored again so I was re-reading an amazing story, The World Is Ugly, But You're Beautiful. It's so sweet. This part that is just after Gerard and the girl, Piper, went to a fair and Gerard won her a giant purple unicorn about the size of Gerard:
"We were at the amusement park," Gerard waved him off.
"Yeah, and look at what Gerard got me!" I giggled and held out my unicorn for all to see.
Mikey's eyes widened and snatched the unicorn out of my hands and hugged it to him.
"Unniiiiicoooooorrrrrrnnnnnnn!!!!!" He squealed.
"Mikey, no!" I shrieked. "That's mine!"
"MINE!" He said, and he started to run off with it.
"MIKEY! GIVE IT BACK!" I yelled, and ran after him.
"Mikey, dude, you seriously don't want to mess with Piper!" Tony called.
"It's true!" Connie added.
I ran after Mikey in circles, his pace increasing as mine got slower and my leg muscles ached. I soon grew tired, and fell to my knees panting, the others chuckling and fairly amused. I had to admit, for a skinny kid, Mikey was very fast.
"Okay, Mikey..." I panted. "I...I give up...now can we just go back-stage already?"
He chuckled and handed my unicorn back to me, "Fine, and I'm giving it back to you because you're a sweetheart."
It just so sweet. <3
