Biography: Alistair is the product of an arranged marriage between his father, Richard Darcy, and his mother, Fiona Stewart. Fiona was the daughter of Bonnie Prince Charlie, and the King himself made the match to attempt to bring peace between England and Scotland. His parents both died of influenza when Alistair was small. He was raised at Court until he turned 25. During his time in Court, Alistair made a name for himself by assisting in solving many crimes, and was given his Commission of Chief Investigator. At the same time, he was given for his and for all his future generations the Earldom for service rendered to the Crown. While it is not common knowledge, his extraordinary ability to at induction and deduction comes from his mother's family. The Stewarts of Scotland have Fae blood in their lineage, dating back many generations,

Alistair is a pale complected, black haired, grey-eyed gentleman standing at 6' tall, and is the picture of the perfect gentleman. Dressed to the nines (he is known for being a bit of a dandy) when he is not working either for the King or in his laboratory, he is usually drinking with his good friends, dancing with the ladies, listening to and paticipating in discussions on Progress. Loyal to a fault, Alistair can also come across as a bit of a schemer and a bit high-handed at times but means it for the best intents and purposes. Pity the one that causes Alistair to lose his temper. Alistair's fury manifests as cruel and sadistic, icy and long-lasting (especially since he is not one to lose his temper very often: it takes a great deal to get him angry.)

He is an expert swordsman, and carries on his person either a long or short-sword (perfers short, can handle both equally) on him nearly at all times. Alistair also has the ability to see the events of the recent past, three months prior to be exact. The more recent the event will appear clearer to him, the older events appear faded. He is not fully able to control the ability, and little to no control over what he sees.
