Okay, something's bound to blow up in my face before long. Things are just going too sporking well. My grades in EN102 are excellent, I'm surprisingly having a blast at my job as a Salvation Army Bell Ringer, and I not only found an excellent Pokemon MMORPG, but I've also caught a lot of great Fire Pokemon and a Pachirisu! Yeah, so much awesomeness... something's bound to blow up in my face. XD
But yeah, I recently got back my grade for my Mid-Term in EN102: Expository Prose, and I made a 95! I thought for sure I hadn't made over a 70, but my professor said that I "Made an excellent and in depth analysis of the given topic with minor grammatical errors." So, yeah, past concern for my EN102 grades are now gone. n.n
Also, as I said, my Bell Ringing job is going extremely well. I've been meeting some really interesting people; some are nice, some are cool, and some are... downright scary. Some of the stories some of them have told me about how the Salvation Army has helped them are really touching as well. It gives me a real sense of duty and happiness about my job. For example, as I was ringing at the mall in front of the Pottery Barn (Its a home furnishing store.), one older lady came and donated, telling me that she always made it a point to donate to bell ringers at that spot because when she was a little girl, she got lost at that mall and went to a bell ringer who was ringing in the very spot I was ringing. The bell ringer stayed with her and looked after her until her parents came and found her. Another man told me about how his home burned down and the Salvation Army brought him, his wife and two daughters everything they needed to get along and then some until they could get back on their feet. If I get enough stories, I may just write a book about all this. Some of those stories are seriously touching and need to be shared; or at least I feel they should.
But yeah, since all that's going so well, I've been able to relax and play this awesome Pokemon RPG I found online called TPPC. Not sure what TPPC stands for, but its pretty awesome. I WAS playing another Pokemon MMO called Pokemon Crater, but it went down on Dec. 1st, so I was forced to look for alternatives. The RPG is currently in version 7, and slightly hard to navigate, but once you learn the ropes, its pretty sporking awesome. My current team consists of Pachirisu, Charmander, Magmar, Vulpix, Growlithe and Ponyta. I've gotten up to Celadon City gym and earned the Rainbow Badge, and am currently training to go after Sabrina in the Saffron Gym and get the Marsh Badge. Maybe I'm a bit too into this, but meh, its so fun! Go check it out!
My TPPC Profile
So, yeah, like I said, going too sporking well. Something's bound to blow up in my face. XD Anyway, that's it for me today. Merry Christmas! Or, if you're Japanese, Meri Kurisumasu!
