Biography:
Edgar "Super Brain" Trade, youngest of three, lived on the outskirts of Opelucid City with his father, a retired martial arts trainer working at one of the many factories in the city to support his three children. Edgar showed a great deal of interest in technology at a young age, learning all he could about the different mechanics of things from his father and various things on television. That's not the only thing the young man learned from television. He had become obsessed with Sentai-style cartoons and shows, where as an ordinary person could become a superhero at the blink of an eye. The boy was determined to join the ranks of these heroes, and protect the world from evil.
Edgar knew he couldn't do it alone. He needed a pokemon to help him on his journey to save the world from evil. Edgar begged his father to help him get one. Though his father wasn't sure if they could just up and find any pokemon to bond with him, he made deal with his son. "If you can win a fighting tournament in , I'll get you a pokemon." With renowned vigor, Edgar excepted the deal. Everyday after work, Edgar trained with his father, and at the age of 10, Edgar fought in his first competition. Edgar surprisingly placed 1st in his division.
With the deal being won, Edgar and his father set out in search of Edgar's very first pokemon. The two came across a pack of Pawniards and a single Bisharp. One of the Pawniards caught notice to the two, but did not alert the others. It was smaller than the rest, definitely the youngest. Edgar stared long and hard at the Pawniard. That was the one. It even looked like one of his Sentai heroes! Edgar slipped away from his father, looking to get closer and possibly just snatch up his little hero-esque looking pokemon. The pack began to move, but the little one stayed behind, watching for Edgar. When Edgar appeared before him, the Pawniard stood it's ground. It attacked edgar with his razor sharp blades. Edgar defended himself. The two fought, ending with an unconscious Pawniard and a heavily injured Edgar. Edgar awoke the next day at the Pokecenter, his wounds patched up and his new pokemon watching over him.
As the years passed, Edgar had created a new persona for himself to fight crime. He referred to himself as "Cyclone Blue". His Pawniard was very judgementl of him. Generally ignoring him unless the boy dawned his costume, which some how reminded the Pawniard of Bisharp.
Edgar left him home at 14 in search of adventure, masking it as a simple trip to his Aunt and Uncles in Johto. Edgar was going to make a name for himself in the world. Every household in the world would know the name "Cyclone Blue."

Bio: Generally quite serious, but knows when to have fun with Edgar. Pawniard finds itself filled with Pride and vigor when Edgar dawns his Cyclone Blue costume. Pawniard is very loyal to his friend and would stick with him no matter what challenge lays ahead.
