Exert from a short story
"...At first I believed the stranger to be human. The face certainly made me believe so. But as my eyes began to travel I noticed otherwise. The body was a hue of dusty starlight, dipped at the ends of the hands and feet with a burst of pale red. Long slender horns were set atop the head, poking out from a clothed hood. Slowly, almost cautiously, it rose it's large thick-furred arms up to it's chest. Amongst the monstrous claws I caught sight of a small, delicate locket with a cameo set into the front. The creature turned it's eyes from me, to it's treasure, and again to me. Eyes of indigo that went on forever it seemed; and I couldn't fathom to wonder what it might have been thinking...."
