About; Katsuo is the prince of the royal Shimizu clan who reigned during the Asuka period, although their name is well known, very little is known about the clan, though Katsuo was born towards the end of the Asuka period, making him quite old by vampire standards yet since he is immortal he always remains looking his youthful self. Though he was born to royal pure bloods his family gave him up to a human family for his own protection, he in the heir to the throne and though the idea of vampires being killed with a stake through the heart was all myth they'd rather not risk loosing someone so important. Though they brought him up, Katsuo grew up to despise humans, he knew they killed vampires and classed them as his enemies forever, he is unforgiving and nothing will ever change his mind about humans, unless maybe one day one can get close enough to him to convince him otherwise. He may come off as arrogant and stuck up but that is only in his nature and because he is proud of who he is, he has never taken handouts from his real family and has worked for everything that he has, earning it one way or another, people assume that he is bi polar as he can be cruel one minute and really quite sweet the other, but that is only due to the fact that he is untrusting and it takes a while for him to warm up to people, he is only really looking for someone he can give his attention to and that is why he involves himself in the slave industry. He is a lover of all things beautiful, whether it be people, furniture or art, his main obsession is gothic aristocrat which seems to fit perfectly with his japanese/french mixture and his mansion in Versailles is full of the finest artwork and furniture, each room decorated in the most beautiful gothic fashion, which is also how he always dresses no matter how many strange looks he may get.
