i think some of you are wondering "how did The Knight and The King meet?"
well actually, they knew each other for a very long time. you see this story dates back a few lifetimes ago. so i'll retell it as best as i can remember. its not easy to write such things after so long. where does this story begin? ah. yes. with the death of a king.
Notice. however i said "a" king not "the" king. lets begin shall we? or have we already.
Anartica, was once a lush kingdom, beautiful rolling plains and valleys. but a small dark cloud was looming. for the current king was dying. he was a good king. immortal even. but of course God can strike down anyone. so he decided in good time to take the king. now the king had no wife and no children. no heir to the throne. right? most wrong. the king had a favorite servent.
he called forth for that servent and had him brought to him in that room where he remained dying. the servent did not know what awaited him. of course not. who could. now the Knight. was standing outside of the doors with the other men.
but he could not help but to look upon what was to befall the servent. for the Knight and the servent had a relationship a secret one. hid from everyone else. when the king cut open the servent to bless him with the pains of immortality. the Knight rushed forth. forgetting he was still a knight and he was in a way "betreying" the king"
The other Knights grabbed him and held him away while the servent suffered. dying once then coming back immortal.
The Knight. however. was sentence to die.he was excuted that day.
The old king was dead. The new king. saw this act on his Knight. and become bitter and cold. He froze over the lands. killing the people. locking them and the land in an icy slumber they would wait. 1000 years in the making.
The castle is still there. The king however. Found his Knight. the spirit of the Knight in other body. but the Knight non the less.
That is how they met. ^^ tragic no? but alas a good ending for a story as old as this.
