This is the third book ini the series so if you haven't read the pilot that has all thr info on the characters or "The Arrival", you may not understand what's going. Hope you like this! -Mandi497 heart
Mandy and Faith continued the follow Lemon Drop and Orange Sherbert through the weirdly amazing world they accidentally stumbled upon.
"Oh you'll just love, love, LOVE our next friend!!!", Lemon exclaimed.
"I bet.", Faith said, sarcastically.
"Faith! Don't be rude!", Mandy said giving Faith the stink eye.
As they kept walking they came upon the strip club they had seen earlier. It was a large black build with big neon green letter spelling out "Licorice is Always Sweeter When it's Black" along with a large black arch made from braided metal. Seconds after their arrival, a woman with pure white skin wearing nothing, but some skimpy lingerie, fishnets, and 7 inch tall high heels. Following close behind was, to Mandy and Faith's surprise, a dragon. She seemed to walk on air, never tripping once even though she was walking in the uneven grass, but the same couldn't be said for her pet. He seemed to be having trouble staying aloft let alone in a straight line.
"Well who do we have here", the woman said in an accent parallel to a true born Texan.
"This is Mandy and Faith. They come from the California Gate.", Orange said with an honest smile.
"Really?", she said with an evil smirk, "Some new meat for little ol' me."
Faith and Mandy looked at each other nervously, latching on to eachother's hands in a death grip.
"Don't you two worry. I'll be nice and gentle,:" she said with a wink. "By the way, the names Licorice. Black Licorice."
Orange quickly hooked arms with the two frightened girl and ran off yelling, "Well we must talk again soon, but for now ta-ta!" Black said something in the distance, but by then the girls were too far to here the most likely inappropriate good-bye she said.
"I'm so sorry! She did the same to Chocolate when he moved here from the Candy Caverns."
In unison, Faith and Mandy both excitedly repeated, "HE!?! THERE ARE BOYS HERE?!?!!"
"Why of course, but only a few live in Fruity Cutie Land and only one of them is not in hiding and that's Chocolate Shake", Lemon said almost too fast to be audible.
Faith and Mandy got a flirtatious smile, silently betting on who would win his heart first.
"But sorry girls, he's taken. He's Orange's boyfriend.", Lemon said, seeming to be depressed herself by the true statement.
"Not for long", Faith and Mandy thought.
"Hey, I think i speak for both me and Faith, when I say that we can go on with our introductions ourselves", Mandy said, with a slightly evil tone in her voice.
"Why of course! Have fun!", Orange said, obviously not noticing Mandy and Faith's intent.
So there they were, two girls,on their own, looking for this mysterious "Chocolate Shake" and a goal to find these other guys in hiding.
