My team didn't win the cheerleading comp but the other team from our school did! ( there were people too many people wanting to join the cheerleading club so we were divided into 2 seperate teams). They get to go to the finals now. Of couse I am a little dissapointed that my team don't get to go the finals. I think it was because of our chant we had to do, we hadn't really thought about it in practice and left it till the last minute (the day of the competiton!) so not many people remembered it. That's not a good excuse though, we should have tried harder, I hope we do better in future competions though. As well as that, there has been a rumour going round the team that we might be the opening act for some kind of event or something. I'm not really sure but if it's true, I'm really looking forward to it! Our teacher Nikky, who is a cheerleader for my towns's rugby team, also perfermored at the competion and she was awesome! I loved the dance and I hope that sometime in the future I could also become a cheerleader for the rugby team since it's something I enjoy doing.
