Lo! The swallow bird.
It cries for thee! It cries for thee!
'Follow me! Follow me!'
And as the swallow leads you to
The place you do not know of:
Hark! The hearse is singing!
The hearse is singing!
Bury your heads in the ground!
The hearse: IT SINGS!
Mangy wildcat says;
'The man in the tall hat is singing from the hearse!
Through the coffin!
Where are his silvers?'
The angles scream!
The swallow cries!
'Follow me! Follow me!'
And leads me to the mauseleum!
'What is this? Why hast thou lead me here?!'
'The time has come!'
And I realised
I was talking to only myself.
The swallow was not there! I peeked through yonder window
To see the man
In the tall hat
Was me!
