Prologue
Every once in awhile, in almost every person’s life, a person has a breakthrough, an idea, an epiphany if you will. But some ideas are so strong that they become true… or some fail. But some can’t even be accomplished with modern science. Well, at least, not in this world.
Chapter 1
Why Not?
“But come on Mom! It’s totally awesome! Just think of what you could do!” “
Jenna, don’t be stupid. You and I both know that stuff like that doesn’t exist.”
“But mom! A book of spells and potions would be awesome! I mean practicing the dark arts is nothing dangerous, and I should know, I’ve done plenty of research.” “Jenna.”
The plump Ms. Phiers grabbed the young girl’s face and looked her in the eyes.
“I want you to be happy but this isn’t going to solve anything. Your father would want that also but, just face it Jenna, you’re a big girl now, you know that everyone has to go eventually.” Ms. Phiers turned away and Jenna began to fill with emotions. Sadness, anger, hate, confusion. She tried to shake it away, but the thought of the night of the accident kept coming back. She began to reminisce in her memories. The dark, stormy night, when it happened. Jenna tightly closed her eyes to not let the tears fall out. In deep thought, Jenna tried to forget, but when she remembered the horrible moment when her father was laying on the horn and all she could hear was HONK!!!!!! Jenna jumped at the frightening sound. But it was just the school bus driver waiting impatiently at the stop.
