Recently I have encountered people who either do not know what an Anthro is or believe it to be the same as a Furry. Thus, the reason for this entry and to express my view as to what makes each what it is.
Anthro: an animal with human traits
1. Skin is smooth, covered by scales/fur/spikes...dependent upon species.
2. The body retains the ability to run on all fours but will walk upright.
3. Both arms are bent like a human's but are long enough to maintain the quadruped capacity and the legs are in the same structure as the species chosen.
4. Depending on the species selected for a character this will determine whether an Anthro has a tail or not...unless there is a valid reason for one being present or not.
5. Both hands and feet are paw-like in formation and have thick pads on the bottom, or skin...again, this depends on the species.
6. All of the head's features; eyes, nose, mouth, ears and taste, are in sequence with the species selected.
Furry: a human with fur/scales.
1. Skin is covered in fur/scales/smooth...usually fur is the case.
2. Means of walking is biped, it is not common for quadrupedic to be available.
3. Body follows the same structure as a human's own.
4. Tail is usually present; regardless of species.
5. Hands and feet are same as humans' physique, or fingers may be thick enough to hold retractable/non-retractable claws/claw-like nails.
6. Head primarily takes after the human, might have a short muzzle and ears are usually pointed for directional focusing.

I appreciate that you want to rp with me and my characters but there are some things you should know before requesting a roleplay with me.
1. For heaven's sake, please use grammar! I realize that not all are literate or desire to make it known in their postings, but it would be more inclination for me to agree for roleplay if you didn't let your sentences run on. Now I'm not asking for professionalism with this but at least an effort would be appreciated. Nor am I going to deny you an rp if you don't use grammar, just saying I would appreciate it.
*****NOTE: I do have a pet peeve about posting in "text-talk"...PLEASE spell out your words!
2. I prefer the "third person" format in posting, the "first person" for some reason bothers me.
*****Ex. She smiles at him and waives one of her hands, "Hello." (3rd person)
VS
*****Ex. I smiled at you and waived one of my hands, "Hello." (1st person)
3. I have a strict policy as to what I will and will not roleplay. They are as follows:
What I WILL Roleplay
-Kidnapping/Abduction
^^ for ransom or for other reason
-Forced Submission
^^ I'd prefer the character(s) to be abducted before the actual forcing of submission begins.
-Fantasy
-S&M
^^ Prefer to be the Sub/Submissive/Slave/Servant/Pet/Toy...whatever the roleplay may pertain to for plot or end up in. wink
^^ But I can also roleplay as the Mistress/Dom.
^^ To me, this must include bondage.
-----NOTE: For bondage, I love my character(s) or Subs, to be gagged and entirely immobilized. If you have a certain way of being bound then let me know as I'll tell you, I love cocooning bondage or some means of making my character(s) entirely unable to move.
-----NOTE 2: I don't rp of inflicting pain to another character or my own. Now I do love being rubber whipped and or spanked, a little dirty talk is ok too. However, having my character call yours 'daddy' or something like that, it's a turn off. What I don't mind are: "Master", "Dom", "Sire", "King", "Emperor", or "Sir".
-Vore
^^ SOFT ONLY
~~~As for anything else, just ask.
^^ Digestion is an option.
~~~Must be painless, such as character passing out from lack of air. Or the meal is completely numbed, from the inside and out, and then digested.
-Transformation
^^ This does not include transforming a character to being human.
^^ However, this does apply to transforming a character from being human to something else.
What I WILL NOT Roleplay
-Incest of any type!
-Bestiality (it's just simply wrong)
-Any kind of authority figure taking advantage of someone younger than he/she.
^^ This primarily applies to the all too common request of teacher and young college student.
-Disgusting Behavior
^^ Scat
^^ Watersports
^^ Face-sitting
^^ Farting/Smelly
-Breathplay
-Painful situations for either character.
-Human characters.
^^ This includes humanoid characters that have less than 40% of animal in their appearance.
^^ Neko characters. These do not interest me whatsoever and I will never roleplay as one. I can tolerate rping with one...but not as one.
^^ Elven characters are included in this category. To me, thee only difference between these and humans is their pointed ears, and the fact that they can wield some form of magic or have some other talent that humans do not.
-Roleplaying as a Herm.
^^ Now I have no problem in roleplaying with a herm or a female wearing a strap-on d***o.
-Roleplaying as a Giantess or Macro/Micro Relationship.
^^ I do not mind a slight difference in size between characters, however...I hate the situation of a 50ft character vs the average sized person. This absolutely drives me nuts, to me, this is like sticking a pencil in a coffee can. There is no point and usually leads to lack of sexual satisfaction for the larger person.
^^ Sexual aspect of this is not the only part that bothers me, it is the sheer fact that communication is nearly impossible unless the smaller person is consistently near the larger person's ear. As well as the fact that it would be INCREDIBLY EASY to step on the smaller person and or forget to pick up the smaller person if for some reason that said person leaves the shoulder of the larger one.
Payment is not required to roleplay with me, however...if you do want to or feel that something should be offered...then feel free to do so.

I'm still around, or at least not six feet under.
I honestly do not know when I will get my groove back to rp on here, if ever.
Life is still hell and I have not been able to escape the bindings of home yet...due to how the cards of life have delt to me. However, I remain hopeful and continue to push on.

Have you ever been part of a really kickass roleplay and then it died? And then that very roleplay is brought back but with heavy modifications from what you were used to? I was part of such a roleplay.
I have some advice for you GMs (Game Master/Mistress) or (Game Moderator), I assume that is what the term stands for, out there, when you make a Proposed Character Bio, or whatever you want to call it. Do your potential players a favor ok? It will save a lot of hassle for you and the person who wants to join.
If you have a plot and want the players to stay in it, make it absolutely clear in the bio or your rules as to what exactly you will or will not accept.
For example:
*If you are only going to accept humanoid characters, state what humanoid means to you. Because, a lot of players, especially those whom play with anthromorphic or "Anthro" characters are going to assume that their character is fine in physical appearance. If you do not want "Anthro" then you need to say so, if necessary link pictures to your roleplay as to what exactly "humanoid" means for your potential player.*
This will save A LOT of time and headache for the both of you.
*If you need some NPC roles filled and you have specific personalities in mind for each one, and someone comes along who wants to play one. If they request some changes then talk with them, don't say "no" right away...better to have the role filled with a modified version than to not have it filled at all.*
This hasn't happened to me but I'm sure that it has for others.

I'm still alive just so you all know. An old rp I really enjoyed was revived but modified. Modified in a rather horrible and unappealing manner for me and so, with that yet again gone, I don't know if I'll be visiting here more or not.
