WHY are beautiful things so EXPENSIVE!!
I'm currently questing, something I don't often do, but I've started all thanks to an item i've always wanted, (since last monday),
the BIANCAMELLA. eek
Well, I was casually spending one afternoon on tektek.org, where I was creating my one of my many dream avatars, when I came across an item called "Biancamella". Well it seemed too good to be true! You see, I've always been after heavenly-like items, like Pixie, (which at one stage i was questing for BEFORE i saw Biancamella), and unlike Pixie, it has more options, like a veil, maybe a sparkly star on near your head, or puffy sleeves, could be worn for any occasion.
So then I decided I should buy this, definately, I've been saving up gold just in case i came across something I really wanted, and that was it! I knew this came from the cash shop, and since I don't have gaian cash (well other than the free 25 cash we had gotten when cash first came out), I decided that I would buy it the traditional, hard way-earning gold on Gaia.
Unfortunately as soon as i looked it up on the marketplace, I realized such a beauutiful item came at a hefty price of 160,000 gold. gonk
160,000 GOLD!!
Ok, it may not be THAT much when it comes to comparing some items in the million zone, but in my book, thats a hell of a lot of money.
So I've decided that I should start questing NOW, that means a complete ban on spending any amount of gold.
I'm spending my time doing Jigsaw, as it is the best way to earn gold for me and selling my items in the marketplace. I'm nearly a quarter way there!
(that was what i initially had anyways!)
So, I no longer donate, or send presents randomly as I used to, but now at least you know why, and maybe someday (not in the near future) you'll see me with my pride and glory, the Biancamella. 3nodding
