Samurai Sword – “Kiyoe”- The sword is named for her mother and was the last blade that Akane’s father created. It was supposed to be a gift when she graduated from the academy. Kiyoe is distingtive from other blades because of the lily design on the tsuba that Akane’s father made to remind her of her mother.
Sais- Eri and Takeo- After their deaths, Akane named the blades after her brother and father.

Description: This Jutsu was made as apart of a magic act for a traveling magician who used to be a shinobi, but is now taught as a basic fire jutsu. The user makes a hand symbol and then clicks their fingers on one hand, a small jet of flame (Maximum 5 centimeters) protrudes from the users hand and lasts for up to a minute, not harming the user as the flame starts around a half centimeter away from the skin. However constant use may cause burning as the skin slowly heats up.
Katon: Housenka no Jutsu [Fire Release: Mythical Fire Flower Technique]

Description: This Katon ninjutsu is a very flexible technique. Housenka begins with creating many small fireballs from the user's mouth, and shooting them at a single or multiple opponents in one strike. These projectiles either can be shot either fast in the same direction, or slow in a rotating formation. Basically, the ninja controls everything, from the strength, and path of the fireballs (Relatively), to the speed they travel towards the target.

Description: After performing a set of hand seals, the user rubs both hands up together and then places their hands on the ground. Once this is complete, a sea of flames surrounds the enemies and entraps them in this ‘prison’ from which they will be unable to escape from unless they are willing to take life threatening burns. In order for this jutsu to be maintained, the user must always have their hands on the ground and be constantly supplying chakra to the prison.

Surprising and painful, this technique not only inflicts damage, but also thoroughly humiliates the ninja's opponent. Anyone with fingers and no morals can use this technique. A variation of this jutsu is also used with a kunai and explosive tags.

Biography:
Akane was her parent’s only daughter and came as something of a surprise. Her older brother, Takeo, was 15 years older than her and already a ninja by the time she was born. Because he spent a great deal of time on missions, Akane rarely saw her brother and was raised basically an only child. Since her mother died giving birth to her, Akane was raised as something of a tomboy. Her father was a famous weapon maker and Akane spent most of her free time in his workshop around the soot and fire of the furnace. As she learned her father’s secrets of weapon making, she also became skilled with a sword and Takeo’s weapons of choice, sais.
On the rare occasions that Akane got to see Takeo, she absolutely idolized him and listened for hours to his stories of life as a ninja as he grew higher in rank and his missions became more extensive. Akane became enamored with the idea of being a ninja herself and living up to her older brother’s reputation although he always told her that she could outshine him any day. Then came the day when Takeo didn’t come home. Close to entering the academy herself, Akane’s world turned upside down when Takeo’s best friend came to their house with a face that Akane had seen to many times with other families.
Old and weak from years of failing health, Akane’s father didn’t last long after the shock of losing his son. A mere week before she entered the academy, Akane found her father dead on the floor of his shop. The medical ninjas could do nothing by that point and Akane was forced to pick up her shattered life. She closed her father’s shop and as soon as she had the ability, locked the doors securely with chakra. Despite the many letters she received from other blacksmiths and nobles, Akane repeatedly refused to share her father’s secrets for some of the fastest, lightest swords in the world. While she accepted her father’s death relatively easily, Akane refuses to accept the lose of her brother and if anyone mentions him she insists that he is just away on a mission. She continued on her path to become a ninja more out of a need for money and because she really didn’t know what else to do. She has no real ambition but isn’t willing to do anything half way and does her best in all of her classes. She is learning medical jutsus simply as a matter of practicality rather than any desire to preserve life.
