The Shallow Lagoon is a small isle located about a few miles off the coast of the Isle de Gambino shore. Specifically, it's about 5.4 miles away. The isle looks like a crescent on a map, but part of the lad also comes from under water. Thank goodness, though, that it's only about ankle deep. The isle itself used to be bigger, but was submerged slightly long before Gaians populated the mainland area and the Isle.

Many flora are found on the Lagoon's main land. There also seem to be enclosed areas where spring, summer, autumn, and even winter plants bloom all year long. People say magic makes these plants flourish and bloom all year long, except during storms, when they all turn into buds or retract and bloom again when the storm is over. It is also the only isle in the whole ocean known by Gaians that grows Eclipse Lillies, special flowers that pollinate only during a solar eclipse or once every three lunar eclipses. You can always see birds flocking and flying towards the Shallow Lagoon as a result.

Once you get to the slightly submerged land, and walking up a trail past all these plants, lay a rather old-looking Shinto Shrine. Inside, however, it's much more luxurious. A bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom, and what appears to be a set of stairs going downwards.

Climbing down the massive sets of stairs, you slowly enter a cave filled with bright, glowing crystals, a roaring waterfall in the distance, and lush greens down below, with a river and everything!

This is the Underground Oasis.

The crystals give enough light to make it appear as day; another set of crystals give off a healthy amount of energy that comes from the sun to imitate daytime. At the other side of the cave is a throne, and who sits on it is the person who watches over the Oasis. That would be Mejime, but we'll cover her later.
