Flutter has named him Corwin.
Age: Unknown. Looks to be in his early 20s roughly.
Race: Unicorn – cursed into human form.
Sex: Male
Appearance: The man is big. He's around about seven feet tall easily. And made of muscle. Not like a body-builder, but like someone who frequently uses their body and lives a healthy life. Having been a stallion before he was at he peak of fitness, with very little fat to his bones and a lot of strength. This has carried over into his human form.
His hair is snow white and flows around his shoulders in a fine mane. There is a snow white feather tied into it now, from a mysterious source. His skin is slightly pale, but has the golden hint of a tan blooming. There is a small, ragged scar on his forehead, almost star shaped, where Lian healed the wound caused by the theft of his horn. Owing to the magic nature of his wound, despite her best efforts the small scar remained.
His eyes are a pale silver-blue. The iris is much larger than a human would normally have. This can lead to the appearance that there is no white to his eyes in certain lights, but it is there. His ears come to points and can move slightly, flicking sometimes if he catches an unfamiliar noise. His right ear now has a small silver hoop piercing. He is fairly handsome, often smiling even at the worst of times. Thankfully he is also fairly expressive with his features and body, seeing as he barely speaks any human words at all. But when he does his voice is soft and gentle.
Personality: He has the eternal innocent curiosity of a child. Everything is new and fascinating to him. The smallest, most ordinary things can see utterly amazing to him. He will explore anything that grabs his interest, whether that might be an empty cup, a discarded cigarette butt or someone's underwear.
He lacks the concept of modesty of social etiquette. So aside from occasionally wandering around naked when he forgets he's supposed to be wearing the clothes Flutter and Lian located for him, he can sometimes get a little impolitely curious about people. However, being a unicorn, his fascination lies mostly with virgins and he is nervous of the more promiscuous creatures of the island. Males tend to frighten him enough that he keeps away, but he is curious enough to spy on them from somewhere safe.
He does act like a small child, but has all the normal thoughts and feelings of an adult. He is innocent to a fault, good natured, gentle and very hard to anger. But very easy to frighten. He's the perfect example of a gentle giant.
History: Once a young unicorn stallion, he was lured by his species' main flaw – attraction to a virgin. He found her in a peaceful glade, sitting and humming and waiting. Unable to help himself he approached her and lay his head in her lap. But it was a trap, and she slipped a fine golden chain around his neck, making him her captive. He was unable to move as she beckoned to a dark haired man.
The man took an enchanted blade from his belt. With burning agony the unicorn's horn was taken from him for use in some magical potion, to sell on the black market, to turn into a relic... its fate is still unknown. With their prize taken they left the unicorn for dead, bleeding profusely from his wound and unconscious from pain and the shock to his system.
When he came round he had hands instead of forelegs, no tail, no hooves. Shaped like a massive man he was confused and lost. He tried to call for help to his kin, but no whinny escaped his throat, just a noise of fear. He managed to stagger onto all fours, and eventually onto his feet, staggering around hopelessly and frightened. Eventually he managed to locate the populated bar area, blood dried on his face, tired and naked.
Where he spotted Flutter. A virgin. Once more he saw her maidenhood as a beacon of hope and familiarity to his species. He tried to approach but was frightened away by a male. And he hid in the forest, watching her, until eventually she sought him out and rescued him. She bathed him and cleaned his wound, and calmed him so that Lian could heal him. Then Flutter took him to the safety of her tent where Lian was able to teach him a little about clothing and tuck him into bed. Life at the bar begins from there.
Additional Information: He tends to bear the traits of a unicorn, though the magic within him that had once been focussed by the horn he lost is out of his control now. He's attracted by virgins and maidens, fond of mothers and a little frightened of men and the promiscuous. However, he can touch them, unlike when he was a beast of legend. Being mortal changes the rules very slightly for him. He does not know human languages, but is a quick learner and already has managed to associate certain sounds with items or events thanks to Flutter and Lian's patience.
