Words of my Father

Takes Place before the Thunder brothers about a week.
We all know that Shippo loves and Misses his father, this is a memory of one those happy moments of father and Son.

Sunlight fluttered through the green trees tops, casting soft shadows on the woodlands below. A birds song mixed well with the soft laughter of a small brook running in the lands. Otters dipped in and out of the water, chasing small silver fish for a sweet dinner of the day. Summer’s bugs rose and fell in the heat, doing what a bug did in the short time they lived in the mortal world.

Under a large and old oak tree, a clump of a bushy red fox tail would douge in and out of the tree;s green leaves. The cry of furstion of a young boy broke from the leaves in the tree, eyes flashing and teeth bared at the greatess of all enemies he had every faced. A creature born of the most of evil of things, with sharp claws, and dead eyes. This thing was known as a crow. The bird had grabbed the kits favrote toy for the shiney metal it once held.

The kitsune kit only known as Shippo had chased the forsaken bird the whole day, trying to get back the object that was his by right. But the object was more then just a toy to play with to the fox, it had been by his father for him on his name day! A day where a kit of the clan earned his named in front of all the others, kind of like a human birthday party. His father was the leader of the clan, which made the day even more impoart to the fox boy even more. He had been given a toy sword, with the symbol of the clan on it. It was clone to his fathers own weapen he held as leader of the Kitsunes.

“Otoosan, I wish I had your strength right now! I need to get that sword back!” was his mind repeat, chaseing that damn bird.

Green eyes narrowing at where it seemed the old crow had made her nest, a old cherry tree. A few pink bloosms peaked from the bent branches. Shippo’s sharp eyes caught the light flickering from the blade in the nest. Takeing a deep breath and sallowing down his fear into his stoache , the young fox demon begain his climb up the tree trunk.

What have must been hours to the fox passed.
