The following content was a friendly debate between a friend mine and I about the logistics and loophole behind the Origin of Pokémon. Content also edited to conserve space, correct grammar and fix up some potential naughty language.First came a little friendly banter, though.
Sunathear: I’m going to sick a Luxray on you.
Kraeven: Then you shall meet my Akantor.
Sunathear: Then my Dialga will stomp you. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!
Kraeven: I've fought tougher Mudcrabs. Bl
Sunathear: Dialga is bigger than a skyscraper.
Kraeven: Oh? He's only that small?
Sunathear: He is HUGE.
Kraeven: Akantor should be just fine, then.
Sunathear: ... and a dimension hopper and time traveler.
Kraeven: I call god-modding. :v
Sunathear: Nope. He is just legendary. His special attack is roar of time.
Kraeven: Time travelling is god-modding. :v
Sunathear: It sends you to a destination in time of his choosing. Your face smells funny GAWD.
Kraeven: That's so O.P. :v
Sunathear: O.P.?
Kraeven: Over Powered.-------------------------------------------------- Sunathear: He is nothing to Arceus the god of everything.
Kraeven: Fine then. Taste my Mew.
Sunathear: Arceus made mew.
Kraeven: THE ANCESTOR OF ALL POKÉMON, PERIOD? No. Mew came before Arceus. :v
Sunathear: Yeah that Arceus made. Arceus is god AND A SPACE LLAMA, but Mew created all the other none legendary Pokémon... because he is a beast.
Kraeven: But mew is still the ANCESTOR of ALL POKÉMON, Period.
Sunathear: All none legendary Pokémon. Read the Pokédex, genius. XD
Kraeven: I know about them both. Mew came first, Period. From Mew came ALL POKÉMON.
Sunathear: I’m up to date on the games.
Kraeven: Mew is the ancestor of all Pokémon, right? Arceus is still a Pokémon.
Sunathear: Arceus is a god and a Pokémon. He created the universe.
Kraeven: And even if Arceus created the universe, Mew is still the ANCESTOR TO ALL. From nothing Mew created itself.
Sunathear: He created mew.
Kraeven: From Mew created Arceus, from Arceus, the universe... in theory. The way I see it, Acreus didn't CREATE the universe...
Sunathear: Arceus created Mew to make Pokémon tornadus landorus and thundorus and kyoger and groudon to shape the world. Azelf and the trio for human emotions.
Kraeven: Arceus RECREATED the universe because there was a time where even Arceus never existed. Because of his TIME HACKS
Sunathear: :U You just don’t like the space llama. Magikarp rules you anyways.
Kraeven: (Slashed to death)
Sunathear: Even Mewtwo was dethroned as the most powerful Pokémon by Kyruum and Arceus.
Kraeven: Face it. Once you give something the power to manipulate time, they will go back to the beginning of time and sit upon the thrown of creation.
Sunathear: Celebi also time travels.
Kraeven: Celebi doesn't have a god complex. Just because you changed how the events truly happened does not make this the one absolute truth.
Sunathear: And so does Dialga.
Kraeven: Yes, but Arceus can clearly backhand them all.
Sunathear: You only like Mew because he is a floating pink kitty. Yes he can.
Kraeven: I think Mew was like...
Sunathear: Wait. Why am I arguing with someone who doesn’t even like Pokémon? o.O
Kraeven: "If I have the power of infinity... what happens if I give something else the power of infinity+1?"
Sunathear: lol
Kraeven: AND THEN ARCEUS WAS LIKE "FORGET THIS WORLD. I WANT TO BE CREATOR OF ALL. KTHXBAI" and then Time travels. So then ARCEUS LIES TO THE UNIVERSE ABOUT HOW IT TRULY BEGAN.
Sunathear: lol
Kraeven: So that if ANYTHING ELSE THAT TIME TRAVELS tries to go back and recreate the universe, they cannot... because their "truth" is a lie. Bl
Sunathear: Believe what you want, dear.
Kraeven: Fine then.
Sunathear: You’re still helpless to my Magikarp.
Kraeven: Time travel back to Pokémon Red and Blue and tell me how to catch Arceus.
Sunathear: He was to boss for that game.
Kraeven: More like he didn't exist.
Sunathear: That’s when mew rules Kanto. xD so i heard you liek mudkips
Kraeven: You heard horribly wrong, because I prefer Bulbasaur.
Sunathear: i thought you would liek CHARMANDER
Kraeven: POKÉMON 001, FOO'!
Sunathear: Honestly, the first ever created Pokémon was Rhydon. The first patented Pokémon was Mew. The first in the Pokédex is Bulbasaur. That’s why who was the first Pokémon ever is a trick question.
Kraeven: It's still Mew.
Sunathear: Pokémon’s first mascot was Clefairy but then changed to Pikachu because both males and females can like it and the only other yellow mascot at the time was Winnie-the-Pooh, so he can be more easily recognized. The mascot should have been MAGIKARP. FYI Magikarp is still the weakest Pokémon of all time.
Kraeven: Just so that you don't forget: Arceus' back story is only a myth. It isn't fact. Let us define "myth" for a moment in this context: "an imaginary or fictitious thing or person."
Sunathear: When you take Arceus to the ruins of alph in hg ss he creates an egg of a legendary by fusing the real world with the Pokémon world.
In Diamond “It is described in mythology as the Pokémon that shaped the universe with its 1,000 arms.”
In Pearl “It is told in mythology that this Pokémon was born before the universe even existed.”
In Platinum “It is said to have emerged from an egg in a place where there was nothing, then shaped the world. “
In Heart Gold and Soul Silver “According to the legends of Sinnoh, this Pokémon emerged from an egg and shaped all there is in this world.”

Kraeven: MYTH, MYTH, MYTH, LEGEND, LEGEND. This is only a tale passed down from generation to generation in the Sinnoh region. There is enough enormously undeniable evidence that supports the fact that Mew is the original Pokémon and that Mew is the ancestor of all Pokémon, period. It has been recorded that Mew's DNA contains the genes of every Pokémon. Mew can learn any Pokémon move. Mew can transform into any Pokémon. Those are vital characteristics and statistics. You can argue it all you like, but these are difficult to argue against Mew as the ancestor of all Pokémon when Mew has these attributes; while Arceus only has an epic rumour? Now what? Mew's Pokedex entry doesn't change to fit DIFFERENT RELIGIONS THAT ACTUALLY EXIST OUTSIDE THE WORLD OF POKEMON, like Judaism, Hinduism, Christianity, and another I can’t quite put my finger on.
Sunathear: Arceus knows judgment and can be any type.
Kraeven: Big deal. He can camouflage. You know what? Ditto. Before even that, Mew. Now what?
Sunathear: Judgment kills Pokémon. xD
Kraeven: THEN IT SHOULD ALSO KILL ITSELF!
Sunathear: It can be any type.
Kraeven: It doesn't matter if it can be any TYPE, it can't KNOW everything. MEW CAN.
Sunathear: Go watch Arceus and the Jewel of Life.
Kraeven: It's a lie. I explained why three times. It created its own time paradox because of its egotistical cow-pies. Let me define paradox in this context for a moment: "a self-contradictory and false proposition."
Sunathear: xD You love to argue.
Kraeven: More so I enjoy it when people fail to understand the loopholes or origin of their own fandom and when I can prove more than them without even liking it.
