Any-ho, lemmie give you the whole...info and detail of Donation Mondays
For the past few years, I've dedicated myself to Gaia, and I mean in the mid...04-05 season before the whole newbie rush of 06 and when Gaia was good. When I first signed up to Gaia, it was beyond Epic Win and tasted like the Delicious Candy Cake that I get on my B-Day. Surprisingly, The Eldas..or by many..Elders of Gaia, Elders, or Richies, were much..kinder. I can understand their situation where many of the good ones have left or have gone sour to where the newbies today see them as money trees and expect to be showered with gold. Completely understandable. Yet something irks me. The Eldas are not just sour now, but just straight up mean and hurtful to newbies. Now i say newbies to those who are just new to the site, need information, and a bit of education of the whole situation of Gaia. But when I see in towns when a newbie is asking for help on something, (As in, why are there trees and why do they give money. And trust me ive seen questions like that ) Many end up being insulted or even worse, not given information so they are left to wander about, disliking many on gaia and soon becoming a, what i like, and many us call, a n00b. So maybe it's not them that's making themselves n00bs, but the people who treat them with disrespect. I also disagree with the invisible hierarchy on here now. When I joined gaia in the past, there was no ranking. You had the mods who did their duty and items didn't mater as much but were just..well..items. Now, it seems like...well...the better your avi looks..the more respect you get. There is now rankings. The more gold you have, the more respect you get, the better friends, and of course that straight up cockiness. For heaven's sake people..they're pixels...i personally don't see how people can spend their week's paycheck on this site anyways. :
So, I came with this little idea recently. Tis simple really. Every Monday..or ever other Monday. I shall be giving out random gold and/or items as well as a friendly hug and kindness hoping that it will pass the message along that no matter how your avi looks or how you act, one should still get respect even if you don't get it yourself. It's all simple. I will go running around towns...or forums..whatever I feel like going into. And then just randomly send a PM saying;
Subject:??????
Happy Donation Monday! I, Mr. Soviet_Nomad have noticed you in towns or in forums and have decided to give you ((enter amount of gold or item here))!!!
I hope that this little gift will cheer your day up a bit and I hope that you will leave me a simple thank you Via PM or Comment on my Profile!

This is what one will get. and suddenly, no sooner had they have read this PM that a simple Trade Request will be sent to them. Showing how much they are given of what it said via PM. And I only ask that you leave me a thanks Via PM or a comment on my profile. Although you don't really HAVE to do that, but I understand if you don't want to.
Now, the simple Q and A things
Q- Can I get a random Donation more than once?
A-YES! biggrin That's what makes it so fun! Although it all depends on the situation. There are now two snowflakes alike! If you do get another random donation from me, then it means you have done something to get my attention! But, fore warning; TIS NOT COMMON!! Not common at all that i give out more than one donation to the same person!
Q-What about begging?
A-no begging please! No begging through Via PM, towns, Forums, or Comments on my profiles. Its annoying and quite bothersome! Beggars aren't choosers!
Q-What if I don't like the gift?
A-Either return the gift or sell it...or..well..better off..give it to someone else if you don't like it. But if you don't want it, I recommend either selling it so you can gain something from it, or give it to someone who will have better use of it!
Q-Why Mondays?
A-I have no idea! sweatdrop I just picked out a random day from the week. Maybe because I can remember Monday since it's the beginning of the new week.
Q-Why every other Monday?
A-Sometimes, my Mondays will vary. If maybe one Monday you get something then next Monday I don't do anything, tis because I'm saving up and buying things to restock on the stuff I can give away of course! It's not too hard for me to get gold on gaia since I mostly roleplay and in the ED forums as well as running about in towns while playing games at the same time...i can make my gold grow(LEGALLY!!)rather quickly.
Q-What about Quests?
A-no quests please! although you may tell me about them and I might try, don't expect me to help you save up for a demonic pitchfork...I'm a Gaian like you..not made of the gold Gaia produces^-^;;
Q-Would you suggest assistance with this little game of yours?
A-Game? tis not a game but of act of kindness and boredom really sweatdrop But, yes, if others wish to join part of my acts of charity then all they have to do is PM me saying that they want to assist me in giving away things. Although many don't and if they do take the oath, not many are really willing to give up their gold as easy as I am sweatdrop
Q-Do you accept Gifts?
A-OF COURSE! I love getting gifts of any form! I give out damn near any gift when doing my charity work. Right down to banners and Avi art! But if one wishes to return my kindness for their own kindness of some sort, then I'll gladly accept and they will usually be the ones who get more than one donation on Donation Mondays!

Ugh..today was rather...."fun" -_-;;
Let us begin at 5am.
I awoke with the windows wide open to a rather rough storm around me. Of course, it was chilly, the rain, and the wind was like hell fire and brimstone. Along with the Septic Tank guys across the street sucking out all the s**t from our sewage wastes. So, the place smelled like rotting dead babies and crap. Woo. Grand morning to start off the day.
My sister was still at work and Sammie was snoring loudly on the sofa. The tv, of course, was on..thanks Sammie..raise the cable bill a bit more please and thank you? -w-
Damian had spent the night again heart
My sister aint complaining though, he might end up moving in with us. Guy's got a job and he helps with meals and around the house, so my sis doesn't mind that he comes over as much as he wants. As long as there no wild parties and he cleans up after himself then she don't care. Yeah, Sissy is the head main man in the house. Her word is law ._.;;
Anyways, I had to open today. Some of ya might know, I work at McDonalds to those whom dont know. I had only been there a week and have mastered how to open front counter. Not too bad^-^;;
Well, problem is, place is swarmed with women in the mornings. Since most of the kids..teenagers and s**t work in the afternoons and evenings, i had to deal with the elderly folk who work there save a few early bird teens who actually put in effort to come in to get extra hours.
Now, work for me is causing a bit of distraction. I've been told im attractive..and thus..getting me into alot of trouble. Combined with my heavy accent and shy nature...fan girls -.- *hides* Personally, i think im fugly as ******** and not even Old Greg would want me! lol
But, the day went rather well. A few friendly flirts, a few convos there, and i got my schedule for next week. Today, it was just a tired day. Not too hard, but i was just lacking of sleep. I drank some coffee but it barely did anything for me.-_.-;;
Well, I presume that's it for now...I really shouldnt have to put any information about myself nor my avatar, no matter what my journal description says, you should be able to put some effort into viewing my profile if you wish to know enough about me. Other than that...I'm getting off now..no sex pun intended, to go take a bath, cuddle with Damian and snack on some deer jerky till i fall asleep. problems is...deer jerky makes me sleep walk X_x...i might wake up with Damian's sexual organs in my mouth again....dont ask..that will be my next journal entry! ;D
