Cosplay.
Anyone can cosplay, correct?
Then why do people discriminate against people who are larger in size, or not as pretty? Cosplay isn't restricted solely to people with anarexic-like bodies and beautiful faces.
It's just aggravating how people think all 'ugly and fat' cosplayers should only cosplay certain characters who 'don't show as much skin' or who have the same body structure/features as them.
Wait a second! These people can do whatever the f**k they want. If you don't like it, don't look. Who cares if there's a large Sakura walking around the con? She's not causing anyone any harm, and they're usually exremely kind. If this person likes their outfit, and she likes cosplaying, then who am I (or anyone) to say 'no, you can't wear that!' If that person wears it with a passion, it shouldn't matter what they look like.
If there's a guy crossplaying Yuna from FFX, why does it matter? Whether he likes crossplaying, or if he's just doing it for fun, it shouldn't matter. He's doing it because he wants to, and I don't think people should tell him otherwise.
Isn't cosplay "costume play"? The whole point of cosplay is to have fun and dress up as your favorite character! I have great respect for people who are able to dress up as someone and not care if people ridicule them.
Take Man-Faye, for example. I know, i know. xDD Some people don't like him because of his...well, we all know. xD
But I have a sort of respect for him, because he doesn't listen to the rude remarks people say about him. He goes to AX to have fun, and who says that you have to dress a certain way to have fun?
Well, there's my rant. Sorry, I'm not mad or anything, just greatly dissapointed. v_v
