On the inside I am coming undone
Like a loose stitch that threatens to unfurl
Do to tightly my threads were spun
Round and round my confusion swirls
What small action will make me crack
Something inside me hides and snarls
I'm not humpty and can't be put back
Will the beast within be free again
Let loose from its chains to roam
When will my serenity begin
At its mouth will there be no foam
It is rabid and raging this feeling
Well it end before I lose it all
Or will it leave a decimated clearing
And the building with it will fall
How do you fight night after night
Still you live in the midst of a brawl
The knots in my stomach stay tight
Yet somehow my flesh it begins to crawl.
Has that loose stitch at last come undone
On the outside I begin to now unfurl.
