Bleeding Love
She locked the door with one small click, And knew that her day's pain would be gone quick, The moment the first tear fell from her glittering eye, She knew that she wanted to die, She sat there and began to cry, Wishing she would just fall down and die, She looked down and saw the razor's shine, And instantly knew that she'd be fine, She slid the blade across her beautifully light skin, Honestly hoping that Death would win, She cut her wrist once and watched the blood drip, And a knock on the door would make her heart skip, She slowly slid down to the floor, Just as he managed to break down the door, As she lay there on his lap, For one last time, around her middle his arm soon would wrap, He couldn't believe the blade went so deep, He gently kissed to prevent her eternal sleep, As the last thoughts in her mind flew, To him with her last breath, she whispered, "I love you."
