There was an awkward silence, and she took her glasses off dramatically. "I accept that ramen...!" she said in a tough guy voice as she continued to shove the snacks in her shirt. She completely ignored his ask for paying money. /pass

The girl smiled and replied, "Spicy...with hot sauce and chili pepper and anything else you got." She remembered the days when she made Master Okita food. He always ate it, even when it was FRIKKIN SPICY AND COULD KILL A REGULAR MAN IN SECONDS. To tell the truth, Master Okita hated her cooking but in the end he always ate it...to make her happy.
She looked up at Jun with her gray cloudy eyes. "Do you need help Master Oki-" OMG. DID SHE SERIOUSLY JUST CALL HIM THAT. Her face turned bright red and she turned away and started petting the cat as if she really wanted to. "Uh whatever your name is..."

Porn, porn, porn, the Justin Bieber Movie. Wow, what a lame selection. Did they even sell the justin bieber movie in Japan? Oh well. She might as well just watch Gintama, which is the best show ever.
Suddenly she heard someone come into the house, who started shouting randomly. "HEY JUN...MAKE ME SOME hic RAMEN TOO. I'M ******** HUNGRY..." Clearly, this guy was drunk. /pass

It started raining, so at least the nasty goop was getting washed away. She looked downwards from the roof of the building and saw Jun at a dead end. No she couldn't let him see her like this. She let the rain fall down on her. She was tired...tired, hungry, and her necklace was completely ruined. As she sat down on the roof, her necklace she forgot to put back in her shirt suddenly snapped and fell down to the five story building. Her gray eyes widened and she jumped off the building in fear it would be ruined further. As she fell, visions of her old teacher ran through her head. "MASTER-" she shouted, trying to reach forward. It was just in her reach, when she suddenly landed on the sidewalk hard.../pass

Her vision was blurry because of her lack of glasses. But she could remember this scent, faintly. No, not the smell of nasty a** booty puke. It kind of smelled like, well, that guy. What was his name again? Ah well, she didn't remember. "What..happened..." she mumbled. /pass

"What are you, my wife?" she asked, not even sure who she was at this point. She didn't lose her memory, she just was a bit hazy. She blinked and moved her hand around on the table near the bed. Where were her glasses? Oh here...She put them on the bridge of her nose, and she could see Jun clearly now. Jun...yes, that was his name. Even though she was forgetful, she somehow remembered his name. Why was that so?
The smell of breakfast filled her senses, which nabbed her attention. Crap, she was frikkin starving. Sarutobi tried to get out of bed, but her legs felt like they had been gnawed at by some wild animal. /pass

Her expression was empty and almost dead as she remembered the events that happened the night before. It really sucked. She was thrown up on and her necklace...her necklace. Her eyes widened as she stood up, but she almost fell. "Master Okita...Where...where's the necklace?" She said, her voice was hoarse and her eyes were stormy. Her patience grew weary and she grabbed his outstretched arm with both her hands.

Her breath was a bit fast-paced as she searched her pockets. Wasn't there. Jun suddenly pulled it out, explaining that he found it near her palm. Her lips pursed and her gaze grew heavy. It was ruined and rusty, but at least it was there. It was like having a person's soul there. No matter how tainted a soul may be, at least it is there. At least they are alive.
She took the necklace and put it on her, and then placed it back in her shirt. "thank you." she said quietly. /pass

He started to forcefully drag where the good smells were. She sat at the table and started eating. it tasted better than what it smelled, and Jun had even remembered to add the spicy sauce on top of the eggs and sausages. When she finished, she rubbed her head. There was a long strip of bandage wrapped around her fragile head. Her legs had bandages running across them too along her thighs to her ankles.
"You didn't take me to hospital because I'd get arrested right? For being an assassin. My whole group would have been kidnapped too."
She looked up at Jun through her clear glasses. "Thanks...for that."

She didn't know if she should say her name. Her Master had always told her it wasn't good to say her real name to others outside the group. Maybe just her last name, to be safe. "Ayame." It was a common name, and he wouldn't look for her again anyway, right? Then again, he came after her that day...What did he see her in anyway? Why did he even care? He could have just left her there to die.
Her fingers graced against her chest. She felt something weird banging around there. Her heart of course, but it was oddly racing. /pass

She was a bit surprised when he suddenly reached out to feel her forehead. "I'm fine, okay?..." She said, chuckling a bit. Suddenly, she realized everything. It was like a bullet of her memories being shot into her head.
Master Okita...was dead.
It happened two years ago. How could she forget? They were both assigned a mission to kill the head of the opposing group, Master Zenzo. And they were about her when she was surrounded. She was still a student back then. They shot their shurikens at her and when she opened her eyes, he, her master, was lying dead next to her. He had sacrificed himself to save her life. In fear, she carried Master Okita's body and escaped. It was too late though. He had died, clutching the necklace he was about to give her.
The flashback ended, and Ayame found herself crying once again. Her expression was as dead as her Master, but the tears ran down her pale cheeks.

It was strange how Jun didn't even seem to care about it...He didn't even mention it. It made her a bit happy. "My memory is just...bad. Ever since I was beaten within an inch of my life. Those adults from the neighboring dojo didn't like me, so they beat me up. Ever since then, I've had short term and long term memory. I wasn't killed that day though, because Master Okita saved me...He...saved me twice..." She wiped her gray eyes and rested her head on Jun's shoulder. "Now he's gone...it's all my fault." /pass
