I've finished a huge canvas based on this piece of art by Ben Tour:
The original was a watercolour piece, so recreating it with acrylics on a huge canvas proved quite a challenge, but I think I managed to pull it off. I'll upload photos of my version once I go back to college.
I'm currently working on a Ben Tour style adaption of my own portraiture photography based on my best friends girl. It seems even more promising than my last painting, but it also makes me more nervous knowing that people in my life know the model personally, so the likeness is crucial in this one. I've never in my life felt so spiritually open though, I'm realy moving my artwork in my own chosen direction, I have so much freedom.
God this feels so good.
