I went to AnimeNext.
Yep, first trip ever to an anime convention. This one is located in New York (or very northern New Jersey lawl). I heard its the 10th largest convention too. Anyway I got a load of stuff but I wanna mainly show ya some pins I got. cool
Bwahaha LONG CAT IS LOOONG. scream That's on my purse strap, couldn't pass that up, I even paid some extra for some more middle inserts. XD
Some of these explain themselves but I'll translate a few since the cam shows the words blurry. Top left: Got Bishies? Bottom right: Yaoi is Gay (lolz)
KK now on to some snaps I took, I may get more from some friends I was with when they upload their own pics. YEAH SURPRISINGLY I DIDN'T SEE TOO MANY UGLEH COSPLAYERS (NOTICE TEH WORDS "TOO MANY" YES THERE WERE SOME TRAINWRECKS BUT IT WASN'T ANYTHING I COULDN'T BARE.) heart
This girl was tall and super skinny like a model, she blew me away I don't think the pic does her justice.
The girl's hair was great and again I think the pic doesn't do this couple justice.
I think this couple and the couple up top came together they were hanging out.
The contacts were a NICE touch, and scary. ;3;

Yeah this dude wasn't cosplaying but I HAD to take a pic (as well as many other people) since people with this kind of sense of humour are uber awesome. 4laugh

Now there was a tetris block guy but he blew me off for a photo op HOWEVER I met some nice Wii Remotes. wink
Also there was people dressed up as Pocky boxes and a Jesus who came everyday. o.o; Uh yeah he must of errr been in the FIRST anime *cough*
The Con was three days long but I only went Friday and Saturday. It was great nonetheless they had a lot of programs. Also the fact I befriended some crazy fun people who I chilled with all Saturday and pretty much acted drunk outside. (I PROMISE we were sober. redface hehe)
Since I took over 300 pics of cosplayers you can request perhaps a favorite anime character of yours and I'll hopefully have some shots I can post. There were a ton of Naruto, Kingdom Hearts, and Bleach characters especially.
Any comments are loved, also questions about how cons work, I really reccomend going to one. ;D
