7 Steps to a Healthy Relationship
1. Know:
When you open yourself to your friend or partner - get to know each other as if you were old friends.
2. Trust:
Trust can be a little hard if you aren't used to giving information to a friend or partner. You trust that they will be open to receiving and understanding how you feel. Would you trust yourself in giving a piece of yourself to your friend/partner?
3. Love:
Another step in the process that can be challenging and to love with all of your being. Taking all that you are - mind, body, & soul, loving your friend/partner.
4. Embrace:
Embrace is sort of the same thing as Love. Taking all that you are and embracing those who you love and care about.
5. Help:
6. Use:
Steps Help and Use aren't negative if you are following the other ones in order. Using your friend into helping you carry the groceries isn't unkind. Helping your partner fold clothes on the bed is helpful using. Having a friend use you for support is the same as you helping to support and comfort.
7. Thank:
The last step is explanatory. Thanking anybody is a positive trait. Thanking your partner in folding clothes with them or thanking your friend for their usefulness. Support is important and above all else - communicate with your friend and/or partner. Express those feelings, if you wish to get closer with your friend/partner. Be well. Be one.

You don't have to use them in order, but I like to. It keeps things simple and less complicated.
