Okay so I just got chewed out by my ******** idiot professor. We are allowed to bring in plato's symposium for the exam but we are not allowed to write notes in the book. We are, however allowed to highlight or underline in the book. I don't like writing in my book so I was curious if he wouldn't mind post-its. Well here is the exchange of emails.
Quote: Me: I'm from your Philosophy and Social Ethics Class. I was just wondering, I know we are allowed to have books and we're allowed to highlight or underline in them. However, I don't really like writing in my books, would it be alright if I replaced underlining with post it notes as long as nothing is written on them or in the book?
Professor: What I am concerned with is that you have no notes.
Me: Can I use post-its to denote certain passages in the book rather than underlining/highlighting. There will be no writing on my post-its nor in my book. Is that alright?
Professor: Was I unclear? No notes. This implies that blank pieces of paper stuck
in your book are fine.
Now his statement is able to be interpreted in a multitude of ways including 1. if he would prefer underlining to post-its, 2. That I didn't have notes originally in the book which would make it seem as if I'm not doing my work. He very simply could have said yes or no in the beginning.
So my question is, which way would you have interpreted it and do you think it's fair that he gave me attitude?

PROCRASTINATING.
I have a paper due at 1....ooops. LAZY. Well this has been a fantastic month (sarcasm). So far, I finished my Gen eds a semester early so I figured I'd take classes in my major. Yea, no. All of them are open to Juniors or higher. Are you serious? Of course Uconn is serious. God forbid they want their students to excel. No wonder no one can graduate early and students wind up staying past 4 years. They can't take the classes they need. Idiots.
I also got a ******** parking ticket this morning and I am beyond pissed. You think they'd trim the bush in front of the sign that says parking permit required 7am-4pm. Oh yes and this happens to be the only lot on all of campus that says that. The rest are 9am-5pm. Fabulous. So needless to say I have a ticket now and am very annoyed and am currently writing a paper. Bah.

Again with the gamer news.
Let's see, I beat Eternal Sonata plus the extra dungeon. It was amazing. Been playing Rock Band alot lately, beat expert vocal tour, stuck on the last three songs of expert guitar and am making my way through hard on drums, but my arms lack stamina. I also got a psp from miss Laura and beat loco roco <3 Now I've moved on to Patapon and God of War which I can pick up this weekend. I need to scrounge up money for Crisis Core, though, and Anime Boston.

I think I should just use this as random mumblings of my gamer life which happens to be moving along slowly, but surely.
First off, I beat Bioshock last night, yay. I have 39/50 achievements so I'll probably be replaying for achievements...maybe. I also beat Phoenix Wright 2 this weekend, now I have to wait for 3 to come out. I might actually buy it. What's $30? Thankfully my mommy is still paying for Guitar Hero 3 for my XBOX 360, I really don't have $100. (maybe she'll pay for my concert tickets too).
I'm currently playing Eternal Sonata, trying to beat the last 3 songs on Expert in Rocks the 80s (I can get to 89% on Caught in a Mosh and 41% on Electric Eye), and playing Drawn to Life. It's pretty cute :3
Oh and I'm also pretty antsy for Too Human and REALLY want the Orange Box. Why am I poor? Thankfully I'll be working for gamestop come this break :3

Well, It's almost a new year. I honestly can't wait.
I want to be older. I want people to actually take me seriously without being all "ew you're 16 you can't have anything to contribute" Of course my teachers don't think of me like that.
But hey, it's December. My favourite month of the year. I usually spend it with people I care about. And I usually let them know I care about them.
And this year, I get to see Rob. Come to think of it, as long as I've known him we've never actually spent time with each other off the internet or outside of school. That will be fun. Cocoa, cookies, movies, a night with the stars. I love hanging out with philosophical kids. They actually understand when I talk.
I need to learn why I like to mumble to myself on the internet.
Ah well, off to do homework.
