I questioned my control….
I questioned myself……
I questioned my soul……
As I questioned myself for the little I knew.
Low and behold you broke through.
Took the little me, made me want to branch out.
The shield I put up, now turned rose in your hands.
The guard gone I watched in awe.
Fangs in your jaw.
Sank into my skin.
Am I a pawn?
But you shared the things I thought were false.
And I gave you the things I felt were true.
I will try my best, my best, to comfort you.
To be what I without you never knew.
To be what I as your friend know now.
