Just hang on mom, Xink thought in dragon language as he flew through the portal. Please, just hang on.

Just as exited the other end of the portal, Xink had to suddenly dive as something shot across his path. Feeling his mother slipping off his back, Xink allowed her to slip off, but soared beneath her and caught her with his foreclaws. Righting himself, Xink glanced over his shoulder and saw a large dragon like creature. [+1]

Dodging it's attacks, Xink made his way to where he sensed Se'rox was. Seeing her standing outside, Xink dove down to drop his mother on Se'rox. A split second later, the creature had dug its claws into Xink's back and was pulling him upward. Snarling, Xink reached behind him and grabbed the thing. Pulling it forward, Xink threw it away from him. Ignoring the pain from the tears in his back, Xink zig-zagged through the air like a giant snake as he dodged the creatures attacks.

Spinning to the right, Xink released a torrent of very dark purple flames from his mouth at the creature. Having successfully blinded it, Xink quickly opened a portal and executed a forward roll that slammed his tail into the creature that propelled it through the portal.

Closing the portal, Xink landed in front of Se'rox--and promptly collapsed to the ground. That strange creature had done more damage to Xink than he thought.
