It would be a lot easier to figure out what they were thinking.

ACCORDING
to Bobby, Jake likes me but is too chicken to ask me out. Because he's afraid of being rejected.
Well, I would like to know what made Bobby think that he likes me at all.
I know Jake told me, at one point, that he doesn't date girls from the same school as him. [And we, of course, go to the same school]
And also, he doesn't really like Bobby anymore. I doubt he would tell Bobby if he liked me.
I don't trust Bobby's judgment. He has a habit of thinking things that aren't particularly true.
So Bobby thinks I should just ask Jake out myself.
But what if I don't want to?

Well actually he was giving it away and I was the first person who said they wanted it, so I got it.
