Don Imus
1st Other News Post

Alright people, this is the first entry in hopefully a lot of entries to come, so I will start out with telling you what this page is for. This page is dedicated to telling you the other side of the story in events that are big today, because as we all know the media loves to edit and stretch the truth in order to make a good story.

The first story shall be the Don Imus story. For those of you that don't know, Imus is the man in the news lately. He has been accused of emotionally scarring a girl’s basketball team, being a racist, and commenting on the sex lives of women he never met. Now, the one quote the media has been whipping out to support these accusations is "Nappy Headed Hoes" said by Imus on his radio show.

Now let’s look at the other side of the story. The quote, as the bases for this whole mess, would be a good way to start. A little bit of searching (and stealing links from Sun Shakes the Sky) reveals this, http://emuse.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/18452 , nice little one minute section that gives context to an otherwise baseless quote. You will notice, if you watch the clip, that his comment resembles the compliment “That’s one tough b***h.” Also you will notice that Imus was not the first one to say that the girls were “Ho’s”.

Hopefully you’re starting to wonder why this quote was taken out of context to crucify a basically innocent man. Well let’s look at one of the men that are calling Imus out on the severely edited quote, Al Sharpton. Al Sharpton is the man that has been figure head or main player in the Tawana Brawley Controversy, Crown Heights Riot, and Freddy's Fashion Mart (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Sharpton#Controversies). If you notice he has a history of trying to take down the white man. Another suppoter of getting rid of Imus is Jesse Jackson. Jesse Jackson is the man who hates Jews. On his wikipedia you can read about the statements he has made about them (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesse_Jackson#Controversies ). Now before I get torn down for defaming these two men, I am pointing out that one of the men who is doing this to Imus has a history of trying to take down innocent men just because of their skin color, and the other has no room talk considering he has been even more openly predjudice against another race.

Well, that is all I have on this issue. If you find any links that enlighten you more about this topic, please send them to me so I may edit an help this post be as accurate as possible. Also, if a new issue start to get big, please send me a link to the post. I don’t have a T.V. so it takes me time to figure out an issue is big if no one informs me.

Well I guess that if rappers say it, and a majority of people that kneel for Imus believe that the black community condones them--as if they can control what rappers do and how they present them, then I guess it's okay. Imus shouldn't have to bat a lash, in fact, I think that because other people dehumanize and trash black women, he should too.

By the way, Wikipedia is made of fail.
